Crochet Bright Festive Emoji Ornaments Amigurumi Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in yellow, red, black, white, pink, and blue
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• st - stitch
• inc - increase (2 sc in same st)
• dec - decrease (sc 2 sts together)

Instructions:

Emoji Ball (Make 7):

1. With yellow yarn, create a magic ring.
   1. 6 sc into ring (6 sts)
   2. Inc in each st around (12 sts)
   3. (Sc in next st, inc) around (18 sts)
   4. (Sc in next 2 sts, inc) around (24 sts)
   5. (Sc in next 3 sts, inc) around (30 sts)
   6. Sc in each st around for 8 more rounds.
   7. (Sc in next 3 sts, dec) around (24 sts)
   8. (Sc in next 2 sts, dec) around (18 sts)
   9. Stuff the ball with fiberfill.
   10. (Sc in next st, dec) around (12 sts)
   11. Dec around (6 sts)
   12. Fasten off, leaving a long tail to close the hole.

Facial Features:

Use black yarn to stitch expressions as shown in the image. Add blushing cheeks with pink yarn and tears with blue yarn for specific emojis. Embellishments such as sunglasses can be created with a small amount of black felt or stitched with black yarn.

Hanging Loop:

1. With red yarn, ch 20. Fasten off and sew the ends to the top of each emoji to form a loop.
