Gauge
18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.

- k = knit

Instructions
Hat Body
- Using light brown yarn, cast on 60 stitches.
- Join in the round, being careful not to twist the stitches. Place a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of the round.
- Work in ribbing (k1, p1) for 10 rows.
- Switch to stockinette stitch and knit for 5 inches. This will give the hat a nice stretch.
- Begin decreasing for the crown:
- Round 1: *k6, k2tog* around (54 stitches)
- Round 2: Knit all stitches.
- Round 3: *k5, k2tog* around (48 stitches)
- Round 4: Knit all stitches.
- Round 5: *k4, k2tog* around (42 stitches)
- Round 6: Knit all stitches.
- Round 7: *k3, k2tog* around (36 stitches)
- Round 8: Knit all stitches.
- Round 9: *k2, k2tog* around (30 stitches)
- Round 10: Knit all stitches.
- Round 11: *k1, k2tog* around (24 stitches)
- Round 12: Knit all stitches.
- Round 13: *k2tog* around (12 stitches)
- Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread the tail through the remaining stitches and pull to close. Secure tightly and weave in all ends.
Bunny Ears (Make 2)
- Using white yarn, cast on 20 stitches.
- Knit 6 rows in stockinette stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row).
- Next row: k2tog across (10 stitches).
- Next row: k2tog across (5 stitches).
- Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread the tail through the remaining stitches and pull to close. Secure tightly.
- Using light brown yarn, crochet a chain of 20 stitches for the inner ear and sew it onto each ear piece.
Finishing
- Position the ears on top of the hat and sew them in place securely.
- Weave in any loose ends and your Baby Bunny Hat is ready to wear!
