Cozy Ribbed Knit Cowl Pattern
Materials
- Approx. 200 grams of chunky yarn in grey
- 10 mm (US 15) circular knitting needles, 16 inches in length
- Stitch marker
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
8 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches in rib pattern
Abbreviations
- CO - Cast On
- K - Knit
- P - Purl
- Rnd(s) - Round(s)
- st(s) - Stitch(es)
Instructions
- Cast On: CO 60 sts using your preferred method and join in the round, being careful not to twist. Place a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round.
- Ribbing: Work in *K2, P2* ribbing for every round.
- Knit the Cowl:
- Continue knitting in rib pattern until the piece measures 10 inches from the cast on edge, or until desired length. This should be approximately 30 rounds.
- Bind Off: Bind off loosely in pattern.
- Finishing: Weave in all loose ends using the tapestry needle. If desired, block your cowl to improve texture and shape.
