Instructions

Ghost Base

  1. With white yarn, make a magic ring.
    • Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. Join with sl st to first sc. (6 sts)
    • Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (12 sts)
    • Round 3: Ch 1, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. Join with sl st to first sc. (18 sts)
    • Round 4: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around. Join with sl st to first sc. (24 sts)
    • Continue in this increasing pattern until you have 36 sts in a round.
  2. Shape the arms.
    • Round 5: Ch 1, sc in next 6 sts, ch 5, sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, sl st in next st on base, sc in next 18 sts, ch 5, sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch, sl st in next st on base, sc in remaining 6 sts.
  3. Finish the ghost shape.
    • Round 6: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Ensure to work around the arms as follows: sc into each chain and stich, forming a smooth outline.
  4. Finish off and weave in ends.

Ghost Face

  1. Eyes (make 2): With black yarn, create a magic ring.
    • Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. Join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and leave a tail for sewing.
  2. Mouth: With black yarn, create a magic ring.
    • Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. Join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and leave a tail for sewing.
  3. Sew the eyes and mouth onto the ghost using the yarn needle.
