Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn in various colors (brown, white, grey, pastel shades)

  • Black embroidery thread

  • inc: increase (2 sc in one stitch)

Body and Head (Make in One Piece):

  1. Start with brown yarn. Create a magic circle and work 6 sc into the circle. (6 sts)
  2. Round 2: Inc around. (12 sts)
  3. Round 3: [Sc, inc] around. (18 sts)
  4. Rounds 4-6: Sc around. (18 sts)
  5. Round 7: [2 sc, inc] around. (24 sts)
  6. Rounds 8-13: Sc around. Change to white yarn.
  7. Round 14: [3 sc, inc] around. (30 sts)
  8. Rounds 15-20: Sc around.
  9. Round 21: [3 sc, dec] around. (24 sts)
  10. Round 22: [2 sc, dec] around. (18 sts)
  11. Stuff the llama as you go.
  12. Round 23: [Sc, dec] around. (12 sts)
  13. Round 24: Dec around. (6 sts)
  14. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Close the opening and weave in the end.

Legs (Make 4):

  1. With brown yarn, create a magic circle and sc 6 into the circle. (6 sts)
  2. Round 2: Inc around. (12 sts)
  3. Rounds 3-6: Sc around, change to body color, and continue.
  4. Rounds 7-10: Sc around.
  5. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff lightly and sew to the body.

Ears (Make 2):
