Materials

• Medium-weight/aran-weight yarn in cream
• Crochet hook size 4 mm (G)
• Fiberfill stuffing

Pattern Instructions

Head and Body

1. Round 1: Start with a magic ring, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sts)
2. Round 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12 sts)
3. Round 3: (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. (18 sts)
4. Rounds 4-7: Sc in each st around. (18 sts each round)
5. Round 8: (sc in next st, sc2tog) around. (12 sts)
6. Stuff the head firmly.
7. Round 9: Sc2tog around. (6 sts)
8. Change to body work: ch 1, sc in each st around, begin shaping skirt with sc, hdc, dc sequence, increasing evenly to form flare.

Wings

1. Row 1: Ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (9 sts)
2. Rows 2-10: Ch 1, turn, sc across.
3. Create scalloped edges by working *hdc, 2 dc, hdc* in each st across one long edge.

Arms

1. Round 1: Start with a magic ring, 6 sc in the ring. (6 sts)
2. Round 2: Sc in each st around. (6 sts)
3. Round 3: Sc around, fold in half and sl st to close, leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

1. Sew the wings to the back of the body.
