Crochet Color-Block Textured Tablet Sleeve Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in 3 colors
• Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
• Stitch marker
• Yarn needle
• 1 button for closure

Gauge:

12 double crochet = 4 inches in width. Gauge is not critical for this project, but adjustments may be needed for the fit.

Finished Size:

Approximately 10” wide x 12” tall, adjustable to fit your device.

Stitch Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• FS = Front Stitch

Instructions:

Base:

1. With Color A, make a chain of 37.
2. Row 1: Starting in the 4th ch from hook, dc across (34 dc), turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each dc across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 10” long.

Color-Block Sections:

1. Change to Color B, ch 3, and continue in dc for 3 rows.
2. Change to Color C, ch 3, and continue in dc for 3 rows.

Creating the Flap:

1. Ch 1, turn work; dc across the next row to create the flap (38 dc).
2. For the flap, work 3 additional rows in Color C.

Finishing:

1. Fasten off and weave in all ends with a yarn needle.
2. Fold the sleeve with the flap over the base, positioning where you’d like the button closure.
3. Attach the button securely on the flap for closure.
