Materials:
- Medium weight cotton yarn in a neutral color
- 4.0 mm (G) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge:
22 stitches x 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet stitch.
Finished Size:
Approximately 12 inches wide by 48 inches long.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- tr = treble crochet
- sp = space
Pattern:
Square Motif (make 6):
- Start with a magic ring.
- Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 dc in the ring. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. (12 dc total)
- Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. (24 dc total)
- Round 3: Ch 3, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in first st, *skip next st, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in next st* repeat from * to * around. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. (12 sets of {1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc})
