Crochet Rustic Pom Pom Cushion Cover Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream (approx. 450 yards)
• Crochet hook size I/9 (5.5 mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Pillow insert 16” x 16”
• Pompom maker (optional)

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet

Instructions:

Pillow Cover (Make 2 identical pieces):

1. Foundation: Ch 52.
2. Row 1: Sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (51 sc)
3. Rows 2-50: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across. Turn.

Assembly:

1. Place two pieces together, right sides facing out.
2. Sc around three sides, inserting the pillow insert before finishing the fourth side.
3. Sc the fourth side closed.

Pompoms:

1. Create 12 pom poms using a pom pom maker or by hand.
2. Attach one pom pom at each corner and three evenly spaced on each side of the pillow.

Finishing:

• Weave in any remaining ends with the tapestry needle.
