Stacked Ribbed Knit Cushions Pattern

Materials

• Graphite Yarn, Worsted Weight (approximately 200 yards per cushion)
• Coral Yarn, Worsted Weight (approximately 200 yards per cushion)
• Brown Yarn, Worsted Weight (approximately 200 yards per cushion)
• US 8 (5mm) knitting needles
• Darning needle
• Pillow inserts, 16x16 inches

Gauge

18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in rib stitch

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• P - Purl
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

For each cushion cover:

1. Cast On: CO 72 stitches.
2. Establish Rib Pattern: Row 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end. Row 2: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end. Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until the piece measures 32 inches.
3. Bind Off: BO loosely in pattern.
4. Finishing: Fold the knitted piece in half, aligning the cast on edge with the bind off edge. Use the darning needle to seam the sides, leaving one side open to insert the pillow form.
5. Inserting Pillow: Place the pillow insert into the cover and seam the final side closed.

Repeat the above steps using each color: Graphite, Coral, and Brown. Enjoy your new stylish cushions!
