Chunky Crochet Rug Pattern
Materials
- Super bulky yarn in cream color (approximately 700 yards)
- Crochet hook size 12 mm (P/Q)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge
4 stitches and 4 rows = 4 inches in single crochet
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- st: stitch
- sl st: slip stitch
Instructions
Foundation Row:
Ch 55.
Row 1:
Sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across. (54 sts)
Ch 1, turn.
Row 2:
Sc in first st and in each st across. (54 sts)
Ch 1, turn.
Repeat Row 2
Continue repeating Row 2 until your rug reaches a length of approximately 60 inches, or your desired length.
Finishing:
Fasten off and weave in all ends using the tapestry needle.
