Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in multiple colors (one skein each of green, white, pink, brown, blue, yellow, beige, maroon, and orange)
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5 mm)
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Gauge

4 inches x 4 inches = 14 stitches x 16 rows in single crochet.

Abbreviations

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• st = stitch
• sl st = slip stitch

Instructions

Note: Change colors as desired for each stripe.

1. Foundation: With green yarn, ch 132.
2. Row 1: In 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across. (131 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (131 sc)
4. Repeat Row 2 for 12 more rows. Change to white yarn.
5. Row 15-28: With white yarn, repeat Row 2. Change to pink yarn.
6. Row 29-42: With pink yarn, repeat Row 2. Change to brown yarn.
7. Row 43-56: With brown yarn, repeat Row 2. Change to blue yarn.
8. Row 57-70: With blue yarn, repeat Row 2. Change to yellow yarn.
