Cozy Textured Crochet Blanket Pattern
Materials
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in peach color, approximately 1200 yards
- Crochet Hook: Size 7.0 mm (J)
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- Scissors
Gauge
4 x 4 inches: 10 stitches and 12 rows in the pattern stitch. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- hdc: half double crochet
- st: stitch
- rep: repeat
Instructions
Foundation:
Ch 121 (or any multiple of 3 + 1 for desired width).
Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc across, turn. (120 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, [hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next st] rep across, turn. (120 sts)
Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in each st across, turn. (120 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, [hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next st] rep across, turn. (120 sts)
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 until blanket measures approximately 60 inches long or desired length.
Finishing
Fasten off and weave in all ends using the tapestry needle. Block lightly if desired to shape.
