Materials Needed

• Worsted weight cotton yarn
• US size 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles
• Tapestry needle

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• P - Purl
• RS - Right Side
• WS - Wrong Side
• BO - Bind Off

Instructions

1. CO 38 stitches.
2. Row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of row.
3. Row 2 (WS): P2, *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of row.
4. Row 3: K all stitches.
5. Row 4: P all stitches.
6. Repeat Rows 1-4 until the piece measures approximately 8 inches or desired length.
7. BO all stitches, weave in ends.

Finishing

• Block gently to shape if desired.
