Instructions:

Base: Using Color A

1. Ch 36, sl st to first ch to form a ring, being careful not to twist.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in same ch and in each ch around, sl st to first sc. (36 sc)
3. Round 2: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc in each st around, sl st to top of ch-2.
4. Round 3-8: Alt between Round 1 and 2, sl st to join each round.

Main Pattern: Using Color B

9. Round 9: Ch 2, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st; rep from * around, sl st to top of ch-2.
10. Round 10: Ch 2, *bpdc around next st, fpdc around next st; rep from * around, sl st to top of ch-2.
11. Rounds 11-16: Rep Rounds 9-10 alternately.

Top Edge: Using Color A

17. Round 17: Ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to first sc.
18. Round 18: Ch 2, dc in each sc around, sl st to top of ch-2.

Celtic Knot Overlay: Using Color B

19. Lay the cuffs flat. With Color B, crochet loose strands and weave them through the posts in a criss-cross Celtic knot pattern as shown in the image.
20. Secure the ends inside the cuff using tapestry needle.
