Materials Needed:

• Yarn Color A: Soft Sage Green (100% Microfiber Acrylic)
• Yarn Color B: Creamy Beige (100% Microfiber Acrylic)

• Cushion Insert: 36 cm x 36 cm / 14.2 inch x 14.2 inch
• Scissors

Finished Size:

Approximately 36 cm x 36 cm (excluding border)

Instructions:

Central Medallion:

1. Round 1: With Color A, make a magic circle. Work 12 double crochets (dc) into the ring. Join with a slip stitch to the first dc. (12 sts)
2. Round 2: Chain 2, work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join. (24 sts)
3. Round 3: Chain 2, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * around. Join. (36 sts)
4. Round 4: Chain 2, *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * around. Join. (48 sts)
5. Round 5: Switch to Color B. Chain 2, work 1 dc in each stitch around. Join. (48 sts)
6. Round 6: Chain 2, *1 dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * around. Join. (60 sts)
7. Round 7: Chain 2, *1 dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * around. Join. (72 sts)

Petal Motif:

8. With Color B, chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), in the next stitch work [(1 dc, chain 2, 1 dc)], skip next stitch, repeat from * around. Join to the top of chain 3.
9. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Border and Pillow Assembly:

10. Attach Color A to any corner. Chain 1, work 3 sc in the same corner stitch, sc across to the next corner, repeat corner sequence around, join.
11. Fasten off. Weave in all ends securely.
12. Sew the completed square to a fabric cushion cover or create a second square following the same pattern and join them together, leaving an opening for the cushion insert.
13. Insert cushion and sew opening closed.
