Crochet Rustic Autumn Striped Lace Poncho Free Pattern

• st - stitch
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• rep - repeat

Gauge:

4 inches = 12 dc and 6 rows

Instructions:

Striped Section:

1. With rust yarn, ch 80. Join to form a circle with a sl st.
2. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each ch around. Join with sl st. (80 dc)
3. Row 2: Ch 3, *dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st*, rep from * to * around. Join with sl st in top of ch 3.
4. Change to brown yarn and repeat Row 2.
5. Change to beige yarn and repeat Row 2.

Lace Pattern Section:

6. With rust yarn, ch 3, *dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next ch*, rep * to * around. Join with sl st in top of ch 3.
7. Row 7: Change to brown yarn and repeat Row 6.
8. Row 8: Change to beige yarn and repeat Row 6.

Continue Pattern:

Continue alternating colors every 2 rows, repeating the lace pattern until poncho measures approximately 30 inches from neckline.

Finishing:

1. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
2. Add fringe using all three colors. Cut yarn into 12-inch pieces. Attach three pieces together along the bottom edge for fringe.
