Crochet Rustic Color Block Waffle Stitch Blanket Free Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in four colors: cream, mustard, rust, and teal
- Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Finished Size:
Approximately 50" x 60"
Gauge:
4 x 4 waffle squares = 4 inches
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- fpdc: front post double crochet
- bpdc: back post double crochet
- st: stitch
- rep: repeat
- sl st: slip stitch
Instructions:
Color Block 1 (Cream):
- Ch 102.
- Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (100 dc)
- Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1st dc), dc in next st, *fpdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * to last 2 sts, fpdc in next st, dc in last st. Turn.
- Row 3: Ch 2, dc in next st, *bpdc in next st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * to last 2 sts, bpdc in next st, dc in last st. Turn.
- Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for a total of 36 rows. Fasten off.
Color Block 2 (Mustard):
- Join mustard yarn and repeat Rows 2 and 3 for 36 rows. Fasten off.
Color Block 3 (Rust):
- Join rust yarn to the other side of the cream block, repeat Rows 2 and 3 for 36 rows. Fasten off.
Color Block 4 (Teal):
- Join teal yarn and repeat Rows 2 and 3 for 36 rows. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends using a yarn needle. Block the blanket if desired to even out the edges.
