Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in beige for the cozy
• Worsted weight yarn in red for the heart
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm)

Abbreviations

• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• st: stitch
• sl st: slip stitch

Instructions

Coffee Cozy

1. With beige yarn, ch 36. Join with a sl st to form a ring, making sure not to twist the chain.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around. Join with a sl st to first sc. (36 sc)
3. Round 2-11: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc.
4. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Heart Appliqué

1. With red yarn, ch 5.
2. Round 1: 3 dc in the 4th ch from hook, 3 dc in next ch, 1 tr in same ch, 3 dc in next ch, 3 dc in last ch, ch 3, sl st in last ch.
3. Round 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, hdc in next st, 3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 tr in tr st, 1 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in last st.
4. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Finishing

• Sew the heart appliqué onto the center of the cozy using the yarn needle and the tail left from the heart.
• Weave in all ends securely.
