Crochet Soft Two-Tone Pet Blanket Free Pattern

Materials:

• Bulky weight yarn in gray (Main Color)
• Bulky weight yarn in off-white (Border Color)
• Size N/P (10 mm) crochet hook
• Tapestry needle

Finished Size: Approximately 36 inches x 28 inches

Gauge: 8 sts and 4 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Instructions:

1. Main Body:
   • With gray yarn, ch 56.
   • Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and each ch across. Turn. (54 dc)
   • Rows 2-36: Ch 2 (counts as first dc here and throughout), dc in next dc and each dc across. Turn.
2. Border:
   • Switch to off-white yarn.
   • Round 1: Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire blanket, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.
   • Round 2: Ch 2, dc in each sc around, working 3 dc in each corner st. Join with sl st to first dc.
3. Finishing:
   • Fasten off and weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
