Materials Needed:

• Yarn (Worsted weight) in blue, green, orange, and beige

Gauge:

14 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Instructions:

Bottom of the Bag:

1. With blue yarn, ch 41.
2. Row 1: Dc in the 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (39 dc)
3. Rows 2-4: Ch 2, dc in each dc across, turn.
4. Change to beige yarn.
5. Rows 5-7: Ch 2, dc in each dc across, turn.
6. Continue the pattern, changing colors as follows:

• Rows 8-10: Green
• Rows 11-13: Orange
• Repeat the color sequence until you have 24 rows, ending with blue.

Sides of the Bag:

1. Continue working in the round. Ch 2, dc in each stitch around the four sides of the rectangle, making 3 dc in each corner to turn smoothly. Join with sl st.

Handles:
