Materials

• 5 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn in three colors (e.g., Red, Gold, and Green) - 2 skeins each

Instructions

1. Base Round: With Color A, CH 4, join with SL ST to form a ring.
2. Round 1: CH 3 (counts as first DC), in the ring, work 11 DC. Join with SL ST to top of CH 3. (12 DC)
3. Round 2: CH 3, DC in same stitch, *2 DC in next stitch; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST. (24 DC)
4. Round 3: CH 3, *DC in next stitch, 2 DC in the next stitch; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST. (36 DC)
5. Round 4: CH 1, *SC in next stitch, CH 2; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST to first SC.
6. Round 5: Join Color B. CH 3, *DC in next SC, 1 DC in previous CH-2 space; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST.
7. Round 6: CH 1, *4 SC in next DC, SL ST in next DC; repeat from * around, join with SL ST.
8. Round 7: Join Color C. CH 1, *SC in next 4 SC, 1 DC in next SL ST; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST.
9. Rounds 8-10: Repeat the sequence from Round 6-7, alternating colors as desired.
