Instructions

1. Start with a magic ring: Wrap the yarn around two fingers to form a loop, insert hook into the loop, yarn over, pull through, and complete with ch 3.
2. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, *3 dc in ring, ch 2*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, sl st to top of beginning ch-3 to close. (12 dc and 4 ch-2 spaces)
3. Round 2: Sl st to next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch-2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in same ch-2 sp, ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, sl st to top of beginning ch-3 to close. (24 dc and 4 ch-2 spaces)
4. Round 3: Sl st to next ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch-2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in same ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, sl st to top of beginning ch-3 to close. (36 dc and 4 ch-2 spaces)
5.
