Instructions

• Creating the Top:
  1. Start by making a slip knot and chaining 68.
  2. Row 1: In the 4th chain from the hook, make 1 dc. Continue to make 1 dc in each chain across. Turn (66 dc).
  3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next*. Repeat from * to * until the end. Turn.
  4. Repeat row 2 until the piece measures 10 inches or desired height.
  5. Once complete, fasten off and weave in ends.
• Creating the Skirt:
  1. Make a slip knot and chain 68 (same as top).
  2. Row 1: 1 dc in the 4th chain from the hook and continue across like before (66 dc).
  3. Row 2: Ch 3, *skip 1, 1 dc in next*. Repeat until the end. Turn.
  4. Repeat until the skirt measures 25 inches or desired length.
  5. To create a waistband, you can add an extra row of sc around the top edge for a finished look, if desired.
  6. Fasten off, weave in all ends.
• Assembly:
  1. Align the top to the skirt and whip stitch or slip stitch together at the top edge. 2. Make sure it fits comfortably around your torso. Adjust as necessary.
