• Lightweight cotton yarn in Cream and Taupe
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

13 stitches x 14 rows = 4 inches in single crochet

Abbreviations

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• sp = space
• st = stitch

Instructions

Base:

1. With Cream, ch 31.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (30 sc).
3. Row 2-5: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.

Change to Taupe:

6. Row 6: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same st, *skip 2 sts, (sc, dc, dc) in next st; repeat from * to last st, dc in last st. Turn.
7. Row 7: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.

Change to Cream:

8. Row 8-12: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.

Change to Taupe:

13. Row 13: Repeat Row 6.
14. Row 14: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.

Change to Cream:

15. Row 15-20: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing:
