Striped Crochet Scarf Pattern
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn in three colors: Grey, White, Yellow
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5mm)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Gauge
4 inches = 14 double crochet stitches
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- st: stitch
- rep: repeat
Instructions
Note: Change colors every 4 rows, carrying the yarn along the side of the work.
Foundation Row:
With Grey yarn, ch 25.
Row 1:
Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (24 dc)
Row 2:
Ch 2 (counts as first dc here and throughout), dc in each st across, turn.
Rows 3-4:
Repeat Row 2.
Change to Yellow:
Rows 5-8:
Repeat Row 2.
Change to White:
Rows 9-12:
Repeat Row 2.
Repeat:
Continue to alternate colors in the same sequence: Grey, Yellow, White, making 4 rows of each color until the scarf reaches your desired length.
Finishing:
Fasten off and weave in all ends with the tapestry needle.
