Instructions:
Crown Hat Body:
- CO 72 stitches loosely onto circular needles using the beige yarn.

- Work in K1, P1 ribbing for 10 rounds. This will create a nice stretchy brim.
- Next, switch to stockinette stitch (K every round) and knit until the piece measures 5 inches from the cast-on edge.
Create the Ears:
- Using the beige yarn, CO 12 stitches onto a separate needle.
- Work in stockinette stitch:
- Row 1 (RS): K
- Row 2 (WS): P
Attach the Ears:
- Evenly space the ears on the sides of the hat, about 2 inches apart from the center. Using the yarn needle, sew the ears to the crown hat securely.
Create the Crown:
- Using the white yarn, CO 10 stitches.
- Work in stockinette stitch for 4 rows, then BO.
- Fold the crown piece in half and sew it together to create the shape of a crown.
- Sew the crown onto the top of the hat, ensuring it stands upright.
Finishing:
- Weave in any loose ends using your yarn needle.
- Gently block the hat if necessary to shape it nicely.
