Chunky Open Weave Crochet Throw Pattern
Materials:
- Yarn: Super bulky weight yarn in a bright orange color (approximately 400 yards)
- Crochet hook: Size Q (15 mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
4 sts and 4 rows = 4 inches in double crochet (dc)
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- sk: skip
- sp: space
Instructions:
Foundation: Ch 64.
Row 1: Dc in the fourth ch from the hook, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in first ch sp, *ch 2, sk next dc, dc in next ch sp; repeat from * across, ending with dc in top of turning ch, turn.
Row 3 - 40: Repeat Row 2 until piece measures approximately 50 inches or desired length.
Finishing:
Tie off and weave in loose ends with a tapestry needle. Trim any excess yarn. Enjoy your vibrant, cozy throw!
