Cozy Baby Blanket Wrap

Materials Needed:
- Yarn: Bulky weight yarn (approximately 200 - 250 yards)
- Needles: US size 10 (6.0 mm) circular needles
- Stitch Marker: To mark the beginning of the round
- Tapestry Needle: For weaving in ends
Gauge:
12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking.
Abbreviations:
- k: knit
- p: purl
- st: stitch
- BO: bind off
- rep: repeat
- RS: right side
- WS: wrong side
Instructions:
- Cast on 80 stitches.
- Join to work in the round, making sure not to twist your stitches. Place a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of the round.
- Round 1: *Knit 5, purl 5; repeat from * to end of round.
- Round 2: Knit all stitches.
- Repeat these 2 rounds until the piece measures about 24 inches from the cast-on edge.
- Purl the next round to create a clean edge for the top fold.
- Next round: *Knit 5, purl 5; repeat from * to end of round.
- Continue working in rounds for an additional 6 inches or until desired length is reached.
- To finish, BO all stitches loosely. Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for weaving in.
- Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle.
Finishing:
Block your wrap gently to shape it if necessary. Lay it flat to dry, ensuring the edges are straight and all stitches are even.
