Instructions

Bear Body

  1. Start with the brown yarn, and make a magic ring.

  4. Round 3: *1 sc, inc* repeat around (18)
  5. Round 4-10: 1 sc in each stitch around (18 each round)
  6. Round 11: *1 sc, dec* repeat around (12)
  7. Stuff the body with fiberfill.
  8. Round 12: Dec around (6). Finish off and secure the yarn.

Bear Head

  1. Repeat the same method as for the body, but stop after Round 10, and stuff the head lightly before closing.
  2. Attach the eyes and embroider the nose using black thread.
  3. For the mouth, use a simple stitch to create a smile.

Ears

  • Make 2: Start with brown yarn and make a magic ring.
  • Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)
  • Round 2: Inc in each stitch around (12)
  • Round 3: 1 sc in each stitch around (12). Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

  1. Sew the ears onto the head.
  2. Attach the head to the body using a tapestry needle.

Bear Arms (Make 2)

  1. Using brown yarn, create a magic ring.

  3. Round 2-4: 1 sc in each stitch around (6 each round)

Bear Legs (Make 2)

Rose

  1. Using red fabric, cut circular petals (around 5-6) that gradually get smaller.
  2. Pinch the center of each petal and wrap to form a rose shape.
  3. Using the green yarn, crochet a simple stem: chain 10, sc down the chain, and attach to the bear's hands.
  4. Wrap the base of the rose with green yarn and attach it to the bear’s hand.

Finishing Touches

  1. Add a bow using the red ribbon around the bear’s neck.
