Crochet Simple Textured Bow Headband Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in a soft pink color
• Crochet hook size H/5mm
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• st(s) = stitch(es)
• rep = repeat

Instructions:

Main Headband

1. Ch 70 (or desired length to fit around head).
2. Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and across, ch 1, turn.
3. Row 2-10: Hdc in each st across, ch 1, turn.
4. Fold the piece in half width-wise and sl st the ends together to form a band. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Bow

1. Ch 12.
2. Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and across, ch 1, turn.
3. Row 2-8: Hdc in each st across, ch 1, turn.
4. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
5. Wrap the bow piece around the center of the joined headband and use the tail to sew it securely in place. Fasten off and weave in any remaining ends.

Finishing:
