Crocheted Cute Plushie Pattern
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (beige)
- 4mm crochet hook
- Small amount of black yarn (for eyes, optional)
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
4 inches = 10 single crochet stitches. Gauge is not crucial for this project.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
- dec = decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
- sl st = slip stitch
- st = stitch
Instructions:
Body:
- Start with a magic circle.
- Round 1: 6 sc into the magic circle. (6)
- Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12)
- Round 3: (1 sc, inc) around. (18)
- Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around. (24)
- Round 5-12: Sc in each st around. (24)
- Round 13: (2 sc, dec) around. (18)
- Round 14: (1 sc, dec) around. (12)
- Fill with fiberfill stuffing.
- Round 15: Dec around. (6)
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Head:
- Start with a magic circle.
- Round 1: 6 sc into the magic circle. (6)
- Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12)
- Round 3: (1 sc, inc) around. (18)
- Round 4-6: Sc in each st around. (18)
- Round 7: (1 sc, dec) around. (12)
- Fill lightly with fiberfill stuffing.
- Round 8: Dec around. (6)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Assembly:
- Position the head on top of the body and sew securely using the tail from the head.
- If desired, use black yarn to embroider eyes onto the head.
- Weave in all ends and ensure everything is secure.
