Materials:

• Yarn: Bulky weight yarn in cream, approximately 1200 yards.
• Needles: Size US 10 (6 mm) circular needles, 32 inches or longer.
• Cable needle.
• Tapestry needle.

Gauge:

12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.

Abbreviations:

• CO: Cast On
• K: Knit
• P: Purl
• CN: Cable Needle
• C8F: Cable 8 Front (Slip 4 stitches to CN, hold in front, K4, then K4 from CN)

Instructions:

Cast On:

1. CO 140 stitches.

Set-Up Rows:

1. Row 1 (WS): K6, p to last 6 sts, k6.
2. Row 2 (RS): K6, k to last 6 sts, k6.
