Crochet Textured Twisted Brim Beanie Free Pattern

Materials:

• Medium-weight yarn (approx. 200 yards)
• Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker

Gauge: 16 stitches x 20 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Sizes: One size fits most (adjustable with stitch count)

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• st = stitch
• sp = space
• fpdc = front post double crochet
• bpdc = back post double crochet

Instructions:

1. Brim: Chain 10. Join with a sl st to form a loop.
2. Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), 9 dc in the loop. Join with a sl st. (10 dc)
3. Round 2: Ch 2, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st.
4. Round 3: Repeat Round 2 until brim measures 2 inches from join.
5. Main Body: Change to double crochet.
6. Round 4: Ch 2, dc in each st around. Join with a sl st.
7. Round 5: Ch 2, *dc in next 2 sts, fpdc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st.

10. When desired height is reached, switch to decreases.

12. Continue decreasing until you have about 10 sts left. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail.
