Hat Body:

1. Work in dc for 5 rounds, maintaining the same number of stitches (48 dc).

Brim:

1. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each stitch around. Join.
2. Round 2: Ch 1, *sc in next stitch, ch 2, skip next 2 stitches* repeat around. Join.
3. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in each ch 2 space around. Join. Finish off.
